Previous productions such as Annie and Shrek have captivated local audiences. The nearby Iontas Theatre is also a fantastic facility to have available for our aspiring performers.

Poetry

Poetry is an area which is well explored in Scoil na gCailiní. Not only is poetry studied weekly in our classrooms, there is also a ‘Poetry Club’ which meets once a week to discuss poetry. Various poets are examined and discussed in detail and the students are also given the opportunity to write and create their own poetry. Once a month, at assembly, nominated children will read and perform the poems that they have written.
